I released lncs-prepare, a small script which somewhat automates the process of preparing conference proceedings for the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series in the format requested by Springer.

A description of Springer's requirements can be found in the editor's guidelines, but it is still tedious to do all the steps manually. The script aims at easing the pain a little. It can also be used to generate pre-proceedings, of course.
